The “Good Design Award” is Japan’s only international design prize with which the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry has been awarding innovative design products since 1957 and is the continuation of the “Good Design Selection System” (formally G-Mark System). Each pair of scissors in the SWORD series – which has received the “Good Design Award” – is designed according to ergonomic aspects.
